Banks can't pony up enough dough to save themselves and commuters can barely afford gas. But the celebrity weeklies? Looking at the bidding wars brewing over celebrity baby pictures, you'd think they had more money than they know what to do with.
Amid the bidding wars over celebrity baby pictures, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have put their foot down. The power couple says their baby pics are NOT for sale and they're not sure when or if a picture will be released. The Sydney Morning Herald reports Kidman and Urban have rejected deals worth millions of dollars.

It doesn't look like the trend of paying an enormous amount of money for a first baby picture is going away anytime soon. In fact, with the celebrity baby boom and the money some of these celebrities are being offered for their offspring's first photo, it looks like the dollar amounts will continue on this upward climb (or should I say, leap?)

Jamie Lynn Spears has apparently agreed to let her mother Lynne bring up the child in a bid to retain her career and grow up like a normal teenager.
A source tells Star magazine, "After several weeks of personal soul searching and talks and discussions with her mom Jamie Lynn reluctantly agreed that giving up the baby is the right thing to do. Lynne says Jamie doesn't understand the life-long consequences of having a baby.
"She still wants her daughter to be able to be a teenager, go to parties, hang out with friends and have a career. So she'll take the front seat of caring for the baby and take the pressure off her daughter."
We wonder if Lynne Spears covered something like this in that parenting book she planned on publishing.
According to OK! magazine that could be the case. It is reporting she and her British boyfriend were caught shopping for baby clothes.
